The room here is really nice, classy, and comfortable. It has a big bathroom and soft down and hypoallergenic pillows for a cozy sleep. the location is great too, just a quick 15-minute drive to the city center....  

Really good hotel, great staff and very comfortable and warm. It was our honeymoon so we stayed in a Junior Suite and it was definitely worth the money. We also chose a film from their big DVD collection to watch when the weather was...  

everything in the hotel was spotless and the staff were more than helpful. appreciated the room with harbour view, my bed was exceptionally comfortable. the venue was in a central location next to the airport, walking sites,...  

Overall really nice stay for our final night in Iceland. Beautiful and stunning location, near Keflavik bay. - Based adjacent to sites, local shops and restaurants.

We liked everything. The location is excellent, the owners and staff are very helpful and curious. Any information that we needed they had available. They did everything they could to make us feel at home and they succeeded. The little hotel is very pretty and well appointed. Breakfast is generous and plentiful. Hot drinks are available 24 hours a day. The English Bull dog is sweet and friendly. We liked every minute of our time there. In the future we will be happy to stay with them again. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Iceland.

Everything was just wonderful at this hotel on the marina. From the calming aroma when you first walk in to the spacious rooms for european standards it was indeed a great choice. There are plenty of brochures for the area, books to read and dvds to watch. The owners are extremely friendly and very accomodating. breakfast is included and a nice selection. would definitely recommend and return.

We loved everything about it

One of the most hospitable places we have ever stayed in, we stayed for the last night of a short visit to Iceland, based in Reykjavik. It is perfectly located for a first or last night as it is very close to Keflavik airport. The family who own the hotel are so helpful and accommodating re airport transfers, right down to providing a surprisingly good breakfast from 4am. We spent that day at the Blue lagoon, got the bus on to the airport and were picked up from there within 10 mins and at the hotel in 15. The rooms are not huge but well- equipped and comfortable, instead of coffee making in your room, there is a good coffee machine(proper cups:)) and really cosy welcoming lounge areas with an absolutely superb range of books photos and travel info, so it is very enjoyable and relaxing to spend time over coffee enjoying the ambience of the whole house- which is decorated in quite a traditional style but with every modern convenience, including unlimited fast wifi throughout. There is a very interesting coastal walk from the door, and a good restaurant attached to a community cultural centre ( well worth a look) almost adjacent. We will definitely stay again if we return to Iceland for a longer trip.

The location was marvelous and pleasant, super close to the airport for our early departure. the interior design was lovely. Easily reached Rain, located within walking distance of the hotel. the King suite was functional, well-designed, and had hypoallergenic pillows and feather pillows. the bed was exceptionally comfortable. We got a superb and fantastic breakfast too.

We were more than pleasantly surprised with Hotel Berg. I did the online booking for my daughter and myself. I am a senior and she is in her mid forties. I was mainly looking for a room near the airport with twin beds and a shower. Hotel Berg is brand spanking new. It is located in an interesting part of town close to the sea walk with all its striking statuary. Also it is just a short walk from downtown. There is an excellent seafood restaurant across the harbour where we had a delicious exotic dinner. The hotel room seemed to be sound proof. It was very clean and well furnished. The mattresses beyond comfortable. A comforting breakfast was provided the next morning. I have to mention the coffee machine which promptly produced delicious latte for my morning wake up. Much nicer and more luxurious than anything I expected, for a reasonable price. I wish them all the very best with their new pleasant hotel. From the west coast of Canada, 2 happy happy visitors to Iceland and Keflavik say "well done and thank you".
